We Are Typhoon Claw

In light of the Design Thinking process and hands-on experiences that are critical in shaping students’ project learning, critical thinking, and team building skills, the proposed Typhoon Claw Robotics Team, which consists of the students in the Robotics II VEX course, aims to transform the course into competition-oriented, in which the students will learn through the preparation for the 2017-2018 Asia Open VEX Robotics Competition - High School in December 28 to December 31, 2017.

We created a virtual drum set by reprogramming a Wii Dance Pad. It is designed to help students gain muscle memory of the drum set layout.

The DJ Board features 4 mixing sliders that control volume, key, range, and note as well as two buttons that change notes from sharp to flat.

The Iron Man Gloves are used similarly to percussion instruments. The gloves will detect different colors, each of which corresponds to a musical note.
